Help Wanted: Precinct Committeepeople

The DuPage County Board of Elections has issued the new Precinct Maps for all nine townships in DuPage County. As a result, the number of defined precincts in Addison Township has dropped to 54 voter territories.

This represents a significant change in the number of voting districts in Addison Township. Since there are fewer precincts within the township, the physical size of each precinct is larger than in previous years.

Ideally, every precinct as both a Democratic and a Republican Precinct Committeeperson (PC), chosen by election within the township’s party representation.

To learn more about what a PC does, how to become an elected Precinct Committeeperson for your neighborhood, precinct boundaries, and more, be sure to attend our regular Monthly Member Meeting this Monday, January 24th at 7pm or visit the Get Involved section of our website.

Thanks, in advance, for considering running to be a ‘PC’ in your own Precinct or offering to assist your Elected Precinct Committeeperson during this critical election year. Ongoing support, at every level, will be key to our success in Addison Township, DuPage County, and nationally for Democracy to survive!
