This amendment’s focus is to protect worker safety including proper protective gear; Ensure adequate staffing and safe working conditions; Protect workers who speak about unsafe – unfair working conditions from employer retaliation; Ensure workers have the proper training to do their jobs well and do them safely; Pave the way to better benefits. The action team is looking for volunteers for Labor Walks on Saturdays from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, and Phone Banks Tuesdays – Thursdays from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm now through November 8th.
