The mission of the 2024 Forest Preserve referendum is to maintain and improve woodlands, wetlands, and prairies throughout DuPage County.
Since 2006, annual visitation has risen to 5.5 million people — an 83% increase.
For the community, environmental, and water management value provided by the DuPage County Forest Preserve District, the proposed increase is money well spent.
