I just want to let everyone know that Mike “Pops” Murray won for being the best PC for Bloomingdale Township! This is great but what I want to thank him for is all the work he has done for our DuPage townships to achieve having their own 708 Mental Health Boards. Because of him, we here in Addison now have a Mental Health Board. Because of him, most of the townships of DuPage County now have their own Mental Health Boards. The objective of these mental health boards is to expand and improve access to services to care for our people with mental health, developmental disorders and/or alcoholism/substance abuse disorders. All of these problems have been historically underserved and neglected. With the pandemic and social media, all of these issues have worsened. Thank You MIKE “POPS” MURRAY for all you have done to help us care for our family, friends, neighbors & ourselves.
